In a kindergarten classroom, the classroom rug is essential! It's used to bring the students together for joint classroom activities, morning meeting and sharing time! A rug is used as each child has to find their color, letter, or number to sit on! They are learning visually from this rug every day!! A rug is used for students to spread out comfortably around the classroom! A rug is the center of my Kindergarten class because it brings a sense of home where we all come together to learn, play, laugh and enjoy!
