My name is Will Wood and I have been a special education teacher for almost 6 years now in Clay County, Florida. I hold my Masters degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Autism. We have created a transitional (work) program for special needs students on the supported level The supported level means that the students needs close supervision on the job site. The WOLF (Working Opportunities Leading to the Future) Transitional Program will be one of a kind, due to the level of students that it will be able to serve. We are rolling out WOLF for the 2018/19 school year at an undisclosed local health institute. We are starting out with 8-10 students for the first year and hope to grow in numbers as the program succeeds. There will be 2 assistants, myself the career instructor, a job coach and several career tech staff helping out. We are starting from scratch so we will need to purchase everything.
