Every student learns differently. In school, we often require students to show their work in a traditional, written format. I try to incorporate speaking, student-led conversation, and multi-media projects into my curriculum. I work to achieve a classroom community that embodies respect, empathy and tolerance. I believe students need to feel safe and trust their peers and teachers in order to be successful. My five sections of ninth grade learners deserve every opportunity to achieve these aspects of community in order to demonstrate their remarkable curiosity and talent.
