I teach in the smallest school in our district. We are a small school with around 300 students. Most students come from lower to lower-middle income families.
Our school motto is "Soaring to Success!" My goal for my students is to make learning real for them. I want to provide them with as much hands-on experiences for what they are learning so they can connect and understand what I am teaching. I am always trying new ways to keep them focused and to keep learning fun. My students are constantly moving throughout the classroom and working in ways that keep them engaged and focused whether it be doing a science experiment, a project on the I-pad, working in math stations or sitting on our class rug.
