In this project, the students will learn where produce comes from and that even if you don't have dirt to grow in you still can make your own food. The Rockwool Cubes are used to start the seed and provide a base for the roots. The Hydrofarm Clay Pebbles are used to keep the plants in the hydroponic system. And the Flora Grow, Bloom, Micro Fertilizer provides the plant's nutrition.
The goal is to let the students take home their own produce and have it with their family. By making a homemade salad with lettuce, bell pepper, tomato and cucumber and salsa with tomato, cilantro, onion, and chilles.
