We are from a rural town in Oklahoma. The school that we attend is low-income, with very little parent involvement. A lot of the students are reading below grade level, and do not have someone to read with when they are at home. My students are becoming frustrated because they are lacking some of the skills that they need to be successful in reading. They want to learn to read, and be successful in all areas of their lives.
