My 1st graders are a wonderful bunch. Their reading ability is at different levels making it challenging to keep reading materials available for their levels. Our school is a public school that consists of about 85% on free or reduced lunch in the state of Missouri. They come from all walks of life. Some live with aunts and uncles, others live with grandparents and others living in a single family home.
