This year in my classroom I will be implementing "Fun Friday". "Fun Friday" will take place the last 25 minutes of class on Friday afternoons. "Fun Friday" will be used as a way for kids to have fun, build community and also a way for them to put their brains to work.
One of our "Fun Friday" options will be puzzle time. Puzzles are a great way to not only improve social skills but also build on students' cognitive, problem-solving and fine motor skills. The feeling of satisfaction and pride a student feels after completing a puzzle is priceless!
