As a neighborhood community school serving a diverse learning community, we want to provide our young scholars opportunities to engage in STEAM learning activities with a focus on engineering. Through play, engineering for preschoolers looks like creating, designing, building and finding solutions to everyday problems. By creating learning opportunities using the engineering design process and Lego kits, our scholars will develop early concepts they can build on as they grow. Through our engineering challenges, our scholars will begin to understand that tools help people do things better and help solve problems. With your donations, we can implement a new engineering unified arts class in pre-school and kindergarten this school year. This is a very exciting endeavor since this will be the first STEAM course offered within our school community. We need your help to go FULL STEAM AHEAD with our implementation. Please help us give our scholars robust learning experiences where they can see their future selves as engineers!! You will truly make a difference in a child's life!
