I teach in a small rural school district in a predominately low income area. My students come to school eager to learn and excited to experience new things and to learn about the world around them. We have a tremendous amount of pride in our school and community. We participate in service learning projects to beautify our campus as well as to help the river preserve and historical ranch in our community. We love the hands on learning and life experiences we gain from our work. We also love to research what we are learning about and take virtual field trips to the places that we are unable to visit.
