Our school is located in southern California. My 5 year old students are high energy and they come from diverse backgrounds. Approximately 30% of our students are English Language Learners and they enjoy the hands-on materials and language-rich environment in our classroom. The majority of the students come from low to middle income families. While our students may come from homes with limited financial means, they still work hard to bring in school supplies for our classroom such as paper, binders, crayons, baby-wipes and hand sanitizer. Our school is dedicated to providing our students with opportunities to explore new technology, develop their writing through the language arts curriculum and engage in exciting STEM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Our district is focused on innovative, intentional lesson design and creating engaging experiences for all students, all needs, all the time.
