My students love to dance, bounce, ride around, shake and keep active in the classroom. They saw other classrooms watching dance videos with the projector screen and recording their own videos with the iPad to watch and dance to! My students asked me if we could get a projector of our own. "Please Mrs. M., we need a big screen to watch our videos and an iPad to record ourselves dancing!" My students learn a lot from watching others and themselves. The iPad will allow me to video my students dancing to the music so we can play it back and learn.
My students love to dance and the projector will help them dance and learn dances. My students will also learn from projected videos different life skills that classmates are doing such as sports, dancing, bouncing, riding around and being active. We will be able to record our own students with the iPad and play it back on the projector screen. My students are mostly special needs so these active ride on scooter and hop ball will help them be more comfortable playing with others and being in an active environment. The speakers will allow me to play back music from the iPad so all students can hear! My students have asked me several times for a big screen projector so they can dance to the music during free time! I think they will be so excited to see themselves on the big screen too! With these supplies, my students will be able to be active 60 minutes a day and learn to use active play tools! What a great idea my students have! I can't wait to surprise them!
