The learning styles and response modes for my students varies. There are technology programs we use to assess learning and to practice different concepts. This is not always beneficial for those students that have difficulty with using technology because of motor concerns.
Hands-on items are less daunting and are more engaging to students if there is more movement involved. This allows for more active engagement during the teaching of a concept and allows for an informal assessment of their understanding when there is independent practice.
