My students are culturally and economically diverse. They love to come to music class and are always eager to find out what is in store for the day. We live in an area where jobs are hard to find and even more difficult to keep. Many children become transient due to parents changing jobs, moving in with relatives, or just moving to another state. I lose and gain students each month due to the socioeconomic structure of our town. My school has generally about 720 students and I teach every one of them. It makes keeping track of who is where difficult but I wouldn't change this job for the world.
