My science students come from a diverse background each with their own set of curiosities. My goal as their science teachers is to provide them with the tools and skills necessary for them to think like a scientist, in order for them to understand the natural work around them. Under normal circumstances, students would have access to a science lab with access to the laboratory equipment needed to conduct their investigations. With Distance Learning, it has been quite a challenge to provide students with adequate resources to help keep them engaged to continue learning science. Students have always enjoyed coming to science class because of all of the engaging hands-on activities they get to do. My goal during this time is to do my best to provide my students with an engaging curriculum to spark their interest in science - that they cant wait to come back to our next digital lesson.
