My children are sweet, frustrating, excited about learning, sleepy, energetic, and a million other adjectives. But, most of all, they are "my babies." I want, nothing more, than to see them succeed in life. I teach 3rd grade to students who don't always have enough supper, who seldom have school supplies, and rarely get enough sleep. But despite all the challenges, they give me their best every day. I believe that it is my responsibility as a teacher to do all I can to prepare my students for next week, next month, and next year. Step by step! Day by day.
