Our students need a variety of differentiated materials and sources in order for them to fully access content and to help them discover the world around them. Access to technology (such as the iPads) allows our students to travel to distant places like the pyramids in Egypt for writing assignments with the use of our school green screen walls, get hands on monetary experience running their own business with the Ozmo's Pizza Co., and have access to social emotional tools such as meditating with Calm.com. Our school has been making strides to become one that fully embraces blended learning, and with the use of the IPads, we could adopt this model in our classroom to meet our student's unique learning needs and styles. The use of iPads would also send critical feedback on student strengths and needs, as well as decrease behavioral concerns as students are able to access content through a variety of multi-media platforms.
