My emergent readers need more time with high quality literature in their hands! This project will allow me to put books in my students hands, even when they are not in the classroom. With this project, I will have the ability and comfort of mind to send home the books in my personal collection without fear of loss. The Intelliscanner and barcodes allow for a catalog of books for students to search for books by genre, author, and more! This will also allow for a tracked checkout of books, meaning students can take books home and I will know who borrowed them.
