I teach in a high-need community in which there is a large population of ESL students and a high transient rate among all of our students. Unfortunately, our students tend to come from homes with little support. These are not the students who have grown up being read to every night before bed. Many get little to no support with any of their homework or academic growth. We do our best to provide these students with a safe environment and as much love and support as we can during the school day.

About my class
