Our school is really trying to focus on social emotional learning. As a special education teacher, I have the opportunity to support not only my students, but general education students as well, via social skills instruction in the gen ed setting. This proved to be really successful last year (I taught over 150 students in their individual classrooms). My students hear great peer models and can role play different social situation with neurotypical students. All the students are already asking when Superflex will start again! These books really supplement the program well, teach students how to beat the "unthinkables", all the while they are highly engaged in the social skills instruction. These books are an integral part of the instruction, and I don't have access to them this year. I (and all the students) really appreciate your time, willingness and support!
