The 3D printer and spools will create a meaningful hands on experience for my students to integrate Science and Technology. In a changing world, the world of Science and Technology intermingle and students are learning them independently still. Students will create and engineer plans for 3D Science models and then create them for classroom learning such as 3D plant models, creating a weather tool or inventing a new simple machine to show skills such as levers, pulleys, wedges and inclined planes. Reading in a book or online creates the background knowledge needed to start a project, making a model allows the information to be learned and remembered.
