In Pre-K we learn through play. Each unit I do has a theme, and during each theme I create activities for all of our learning centers. Themed rhyming cards go into our library, letter matching and sorting activities for the writing center, measuring, counting, and number recognition for the math center, the list goes on and on.
Creating center activities uses up tons of ink, and we do not have color printers at my school. This would not be a problem if my students were older, but in Pre-K we are still learning our colors, and many activities include a color recognition aspect. Having a color printer in the classroom would be a game changer, allowing us to instantly add new activities to the classroom and enrich the learning environment.
