Middle school students are naturally inquisitive. They are problem solvers, but often are not given the opportunity to solve real life problems. With Project Based Learning, students can create, invent, learn to collaborative, take leadership roles, and learn good work ethic by showing teamwork. Students will not have to ask, "Why do I need to know this? When will I use this?" because they will be engaged in inquiry rich lesson, with STEM strategies at the core.
