My school is composed of students from a wide variety of socioeconomic backgrounds with a high percentage that are not readers. We have approximately 650 seventh and eighth graders. The students are diverse in their interests. We have a large percentage of students that are English Language Learners that come from all over the world depending on what political conflict arises in their native country.
