I teach science in a Title I school and sometimes we may not have the hands-on effect of our science projects. It鈥檚 easy getting visual but to actually be able to touch and explore makes a big difference to my students. I purchased some jars and sugar cubes and we discussed weather and how wind has an effect on the environment. Just to see their faces watching the changes weather has was priceless. First, we need a mild wind, then a heavy rainstorm when we shook up the hurricane it was fun.
