Coming into the classroom, the students show their glowing smiles, once we do our morning work to get the rolling and are ready to tackle on the day. They love to do projects and activities that require the skills that they are learning or that they are trying to master. These little ones are learning to master skills that they will need in their endeavor to become successful and help them achieve their dreams.
Working at a Title I school many of the students come from different backgrounds and have different learning styles. It is imperative that these students are not only learning but are having fun; what better way than using their knowing and 21 first century skills to help propel them. That is why they love projects because they are the ones that are in control of their learning and rely on teachers to help them. It is amazing to see how they can connect the dots and are eager to help their fellow classmates.
