Our Program has been talking about purchasing these Warmup tops since I began working with them back in 2015, but being a Title-1 school we have always lacked the proper resources to purchase these, and needed to apply our limited funds else where. I remember coaching these young men and hearing things like, "Coach when are we gonna get warmups" and "Why do they have warmups and we don't." I even remember looking down the bench and seeing all colors imaginable on the bench. While Majority of our competition was in unison from uniforms to team warmups.
These warmup tops would bring a since of pride, accomplishment, and enthusiasm to our student-athletes here at Nathan Hale. These tops would be a reward to the athletes that have worked so hard to make Hale's varsity squad. And by each athlete dressing in unison, it also would bring a much needed sense of unity and team oriented atmosphere to boost their performance on the field. And not to mention it would help these student athletes keep warm during Oklahoma's unpredictable winter weather into the spring.
