My school is a top-rated school in our state. The language programs are full, and some teachers, like myself, are teaching on their plan to accommodate the growing numbers of students who want to take language. I have 150 students ranging in age from 13-18 years old. I have many students on IEP's and a few on the Autism spectrum.
My students come from lower to upper middle class families. Some of my students cannot afford school supplies; however, in the classroom there isn't must disparagement between social class. My students are energetic and eager to learn. They love technology.
Our school district allows students to have their devices at school, and they can be used in the classroom for personal use, if the teacher allows it, and for classroom learning. Some of my students do not have technology for parental reasons. My school services almost 2,000 students per day from 9th-12th grade. There are 4 principals and 5 counselors.
