As students navigate the return to the classroom after distance learning, I want to ensure that they feel supported and heard. We have started a Wellness Corner where students can take a break, access grounding tools and activities, art/creative supplies, and other items that support their well-being. Students shared their feedback about what to include in the Wellness Corner, and I fundraising for these items. I am also raising funds for self-care journals for my homeroom students, since the theme of our homeroom is rest and self-care, and some additional school supplies.
These supplies would allow us to prioritize wellness and collective care from the very start of the school year. Your support is deeply valued and means so much. Thank you!
