I am asking for the KEVA building blanks and the Makedo cardboard construction kits because they are an engaging way to bring the 4 Cs- critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity into my classroom. Children love to use their imaginations and create something new and through the use of these tools, they get to do just that! Think about it this way., you have Classroom A and Classroom B. Both classrooms are asked to design new playground equipment in place of the broken, outdated equipment, they already have. The students will work in teams and use the engineering process as well as the measurement skills, they have just learned in math, to develop something that will be fun and appropriate for kindergarten through fifth graders. Classroom A only has paper, crayons, and markers to complete the task, but Classroom B has KEVA planks and the Makedo cardboard construction kits to construct a 3D model. Which class would you want to be in? Classroom B, right? Please help me create this classroom!
