Hello fellow art and education lovers, supporters, AND artists, dancers, writers, actors, singers, musicians, poets, athletes, builders and creators. Hoopa El is a TK-8 school that sprawls alongside the stunning Trinity River, in an ancient valley on the Hupa Indian Reservation in Northern California. Part of an Arts Integration Project, I work to nurture a creative, collaborative and curious working atmosphere in the art room I share with 450 kids weekly.. Funds and supplies are often tight, especially for traveling, even minor day trips, because of our remote location. Funds for art supplies, field trips, fine art books, and guest artists/speakers will be the focus of the projects I post.
