Located in a low social-economic area, my classroom typically has 16 students from predominantly African American and Latino backgrounds. In my classroom young children with varying special needs and disabilities learn in a hands-on developmentally appropriate and positive learning environment. I strive to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all my students while making them feel included. Through funded projects I can continue to promote inclusion and create opportunities for all children to progress and learn.
