Hello friends of education,
Thank you for visiting my page and taking the first step to making public education more authentic and engaging. I am a teacher who is passionate about creating lessons that get my kids thinking creatively and feeling more invested in their learning. But sometimes I want them to see it and experience it, not just solve it. Unfortunately, teachers are left with a less than desirable budget for school supplies and find themselves using their own money to better their classrooms. This works fine for pencils, paper and markers, but we just don't have the capacity to buy laptops or tablets. With district funds being continually cut into, we ask the people who live in our communities, who care about our kids and who want all children to thrive, to help our classrooms out. Being asked to use technology in our classes is much easier said than done.
Thanks for the support!
