Acquiring these tables will make a huge difference for my students. Having tables will increase communication amongst my students with special needs. With a high number of behavior and social goals, tables are a great way to encourage and model those appropriate skills my students are still learning. Personal space and boundaries will be easier taught and learned with the cutouts providing a visual representation of their individual spaces. My students are active, happy, and sweet kids who enjoy playing with one another and working in centers. Having a class that loves utilizing center rotations, color coded tables will be an easy way for myself and other staff to communicate where the kids are expected to be and an easy way for them to see where to go on their visual schedules.
