Having easy access to Chromebooks in our classroom will allow my students to practice skills in new ways, all while learning important computer literacy skills that they will need for their future.
With this resource, my students will learn how to use the internet and computers as a tool for research, communication, and collaboration. Of course it's fun to look at YouTube and play games, but there are so many more important skills that my students need to learn such as reading and sending an email, typing using a keyboard, and researching and digging deep into topics that interest them.
These materials will truly help to bring my classroom up to date with the current skills that my students will need. By using technology to supplement their learning, my students will become even more engaged and interested in the topics that mean the most to them, helping to stimulate their curious minds and cultivate life-long learners.
