I am a high school math teacher who teaches older high school students, and believe that every student deserves equal access to the tools and content needed to be competitive and successful in today's STEM-focused college and career landscape. To ensure that my classroom is on par with other advanced high school math classrooms, I am asking for donations to buy certain necessary classroom supplies. The biggest needs for my classroom are a class set of TI-84 calculators and enough standard compasses and protractors for all students. These TI-84 calculators cost over $100, and there are families that cannot afford this, especially in the Title I school that I will be working in. Having a class set of these calculators available for those who may not purchase their own will help ensure that my math class is equitable to all students. Please donate to my projects and help my classroom make this a reality!
