I have the privilege of teaching the Introduction to Engineering course at Providence High School. It is a course for students who are interested in exploring design and engineering. The major focus of the IED course is to expose students to design process, engineering standards, research and analysis, technical documentation, global and human impacts, communication methods, and teamwork. This is an elective course, and I teach students from all grade levels.
