With a high population and limited space activity space, it is a daily challenge to keep my students engaged. Creativity is a huge part of my curriculum. Having many different variations of equipment can help these students achieve the best experience. There are a lot of activities we can not participate in due to lack of equipment. The products included in this project will go towards enhancing my students' physical education experience. These items will be used both inside the classroom and outside of the building.
You may say to yourself, how do you have physical education class if you do not have a gym? It's VERY possible and it is done every day. With a population of 500+ students, I teach my students how to live healthy and active lifestyles through various physical activities as well as academic concepts. I teach my physical education classes in both portable classrooms and regular building classrooms. Weather permitting, we are outside on the blacktop or field area. With the right activities and games the students won't realize that they are without and can concentrate on being children, learning and having fun.
The needs of our students always come first, and with your support, they can reach the highest of goals!
