Many of our kindergarten students in our co-taught inclusion classroom have autism and face just this challenge. They learn best using clear visuals, love technology, and can't get enough of hands-on arts and crafts activities. Due to budget cuts in our urban school, our students do not have access to the tools that have been found to have positive results in their learning and communication skills.
