My students need a classroom that is both functional and inviting for them, and to promote a positive and welcoming classroom environment. I am a first-year elementary school teacher that would love to provide this type of classroom; however, I don't have the means to do so.
In order to create a classroom that would meet my students' needs, my students need a way to organize their station/center work through several different storage bins and carts. Their station work will be organized in an 8-drawer cart with labels and their communal materials like pencils, colored pencils, markers, and crayons, etc. will be organized on a 3-tier cart for easy access. I want to promote a structured environment so my students can be aware of where their learning materials are and where they can turn assignments in. With this storage, my students can focus on their learning instead of an unorganized and confusing classroom!
Finally, I want to create a classroom library that is cozy and welcoming so my students want to learn and read in that space! In order to do so, my students need floor pillows as a means to provide flexible seating for them. The classroom library would also be more inviting if there were a few small decorations to invite my students to come to our library.
Thank you so much 第一吃瓜网.org for helping our classroom to become the welcoming classroom I know it can be. I know my happy learners will continue to grow and learn with a classroom that is both functional and inviting for them!
