My students families are all low-income families. Because of this, they cannot afford to provide them with materials such as binders and pencils. Although, I was able to provide my students with pencils, crayons, erasers, etc. I simply cannot afford to buy my students binders. With binders, my students will feel so special when carrying their worksheets as we study Cinderella and Famous Americans for English Language Arts. Carrying their sheets with them will be a great resource for them to flip back to words we are studying to enhance their vocabulary and knowledge on the subjects we will be studying.
With flu season right around the corner, our class is in desperate need of tissues. We have been going through them like crazy already. Their noses will be so thankful for tissue donations.
