I teach a class of loving and energetic second graders at Kihei Elementary. KES is a Title 1 school with many of these students coming from low-income families, with free or reduced lunch prices. Even with these circumstances, my students come to school eager to learn and interact with their classmates. We are a diverse class that learns from each other.
This is my first year as second grade teacher, and I am excited to create projects that help meet the needs of my students. Going into this school year, I want to be sure my students are prepared and have the materials they need to succeed. I am eager and excited to join my students on this learning journey and look forward to many accomplishments.
