I teach 2nd grade at a small rural preschool through 8th grade school in eastern Oklahoma. We are a very special school. My students are book-loving, avid readers and enthusiastic learners.
My students are very creative and enthusiastic and love to art projects. I provide all of our art supplies as well as other supplies. We would use the laminator an construction paper for art projects and hands-on activities in reading and math. These supplies would help my students avoid worrying over whether or note they have supplies. They would be able to just be the creative kids they are.
In 2019, our school and town were devastated by a 500 year flood. We had 8 feet of water standing in our classrooms and homes for 9 days. We lost everything. We are still trying to replace what we lost.
After the flood in 2019, Covid hit in 2020. Many of our parents lost their jobs and can't provide supplies. Please help me provide these art materials for my students.
