The students in my class come from a low socioeconomic situation and are almost 100% English Language Learners. Our schools culture identifies the importance of families, love, and connections. I work hard daily to connect with my students and their families. I see what is happening in their lives and then try to connect what we are learning to what they experience. My students are fun, diverse, energetic, excited, imaginative, creative, and amazing. I feel blessed everyday to work with these children and see their potential.
