I teach three levels of Math to unique students that come from a variety of experiences. Several middle and elementary schools feed into my school. My school is the only school of choice so I can see any student from the entire city of Florence. Some of them are from families with high incomes but most of them are from low incomes. The students range in ages from 11-14 years of age. I always love watching them learn from each other. Things that some only see on TV are things other kids are living on a daily basis. So besides math, I embrace the learning experiences that are sparked by their peers.
The resources I requested for my students will be used on a daily basis. We have an online textbook. Many of my students do not have access to the Internet at home.
