Our students begin the year with a few letter sounds and by the end of the year they blossom into readers. By listening to stories, students learn fluency, vocabulary and comprehension skills. We will use the tablets to take photos and to tell stories. Students will learn how stories work and will become published authors. They will share their published stories with peers, parents and administration.
Also, student will use the voice recorder to read familiar stories and their own published works. Some students are very shy and quiet and this will give them the opportunity to shine. Students will build confidence in their reading, writing and storytelling ability and will help all students access content.
