I teach at a Title 1 Tier 3 school. This means the students do not have the many things we take for granted, but talking to them you would never guess that. These students are some of the kindest, most caring and hardworking students that you will ever meet. They would take the last dollar out of their pocket and give it to you, if you said you needed it or they thought it would help. I am relieved to know that these students are our future. They lead with their heart, practicing compassion and brain, demonstrating thoughtfulness. Each project helps gives these children a little bit more of what is needed, shows them that they matter and that the world cares about them..Just as much as they care about the world!
