My campus is a Title I School in the state of Texas with about 80% economically disadvantaged. Students have parents that have instilled them with a desire to learn and share experiences, life, and hardships with their family within the campus. Students come to the library eager to learn about new books, stories, and to use technology that they don't typically have access to. They know how to read, but it is up to me to fuel their passion for reading, books, and all texts.
