My students are willing to use their personal, or borrowed headphones to complete their assignments, but that is not always a good enough option. They try their best to show up every day, even when they have to travel from far away. I teach at a Title 1 school where the majority of students are interdistrict transfers so they catch public transportation and get a family member to get them to school. My students try their best to communicate their needs, but we can't always accommodate them because English or credit recovery gets priority. World Language at our school is one language and I would like to create a language lab so my students can peak into computers without hearing everyone else in the room.
