I am the teacher of middle school students at an urban school in Wichita, Kansas, where most students receive a free lunch and funds for supplies are limited.
My middle school students like to move and they work better and focus when they are moving .Students in my classroom come from a variety of backgrounds and overcome obstacles to come to school.
However, they come every day, encourage each other and learn together. My students work hard and strive to do their best. They are a great group and deserve a classroom environment that is welcoming and modern.
